Having started business in 1996, Paddy originally acted solo driving around Northern Ireland selling mushroom supplies to around 300 small mushroom farms. He quickly evolved this into four men in four vans covering the whole of Ireland before bringing McShane Packaging to the global manufacturing business it is today. 28 years later, Paddy takes full responsibility for all key clients, ensuring there is a strong relationship built between our business and theirs from the very beginning.

Joining the business in 2002 alongside husband Paddy, Philippa’s role centres around maintaining excellent standards as well as business development. Quality is a number one priority for us, as demonstrated in being able to maintain AA standards with BRC consistently since 2007 due to Philippa’s passion for perfection. Overseeing the finance function of the business, Philippa works with our Accounts, HR and wider office teams daily.

Nico leads Operations at McShane Packaging and ensures the effective day-to-day running in all areas of the business. He co-ordinates with all departments to include production, dispatch, finance and quality to optimise resource allocation and ensure quality control, as well as handling cost control and compliance with industry regulations. Nico plays a crucial role in driving productivity, meeting customer demands and ensuring the business runs efficiently.

Maurice is responsible for the production process within the business, ensuring efficiency, quality and timely delivery of our products to customers. He co-ordinates our production schedule, optimally operates our machinery, supervises production staff and maintains high safety standards. Maurice plays a key role in optimising production operations while maintaining cost-effectiveness and high-quality output.

Jordan leads our finance team while also managing R&D and sustainability within the business. She works with our customers and suppliers to look at our financial day to day runnings and building strong relationships. Jordan plays a key role in driving long-term business growth through investment opportunities while also ensuring we are constantly working to improve our sustainability initatives within the business.

Aimee is responsible for overseeing all aspects of workforce management, ensuring a productive, compliant and engaged team. She handles recruitment, employee relations, training and performance management to build our skilled and motivated workforce. Aimee plays a key role in employee well-being, fostering a positive work culture and implementing initiatives to improve employee retention and job satisfaction.
